Sunyani Anglican Diocese ordains five Ministers By GNA

thumbPicture shows the newly ordain ministers laying down Sunyani, Sept. 29, GNA – The Anglican Diocese of Sunyani at the weekend ordain five deacons of the church into the Priesthood.

They are Reverend John Agyemang Prempeh, Rev Frank Kusi, Rev Collins Opoku, Rev Thomas Adjei Baffoe and Rev Richard Obeng.

Brothers Nathaniel Barimah and Gabriel Afrifa Kodom were also inducted to the diocesan Diaconate at a ceremony the St. Anselm Cathedral in Sunyani.

The Right Rev Dr Festus Yeboah-Asuamah, Anglican Bishop of the Sunyani Diocese told the new ministers the call into priesthood was noble but a hectic task and entreated them to remain prayerful in all their endeavours.

He asked the newly ordained priest to uphold and preach the Word to expand God’s kingdom on earth.

Rev Dr Yeboah-Asuamah was optimistic the church would support the ministers to enable them accomplish their call and win more souls to Christ.

Justice David Ofosu Quartey, a Supervising High Court Judge and Chancellor of the Diocese took the newly ordained priest through the administration oaths.
