The owner of New Edubiase Football Club (FC), Abdul Salam Yakubu has stressed that the cancelation of the football season will allow clubs to have enough time to prepare very well for the next season.
Football in the country has been on hold for the past 3 months as a precautionary measure against the spread of the deadly Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease which has affected the entire globe.
Just yesterday, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after an Executive Committee meeting announced that the season cannot be completed amidst the crisis and hence it has been canceled.

“For me, the cancelation of the season is good for me. It will give me the chance to prepare my team well for the upcoming season. It will allow me enough time to work on my home grounds”, the football administrator said.
Meanwhile, Abdul Salam Yakubu has noted that he hopes the 2020/2021 football season will be synchronized with that of the Europeans.
