Head coach for Ghana’s Black Stars B team, Maxwell Konadu has named a strong starting eleven to face Gambia in the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations later today in Senegal.
Ghana begins her title defense of the trophy she won 2 years ago this evening when she takes on her counterpart from Gambia.
Ahead of kick-off, Coach Maxwell Konadu has selected a strong starting eleven as he targets a convincing win.
The team is made up of four Hearts of Oak players, with Eric Ofori Antwi manning the post in place of Kotoko goalie Felix Annan who joined camp in the last 24 hours.
AshantiGold pair of James Akaminko and Appiah McCarthy will be in the middle of the park to link defense to attack.
Joseph Esso and Shafiu Mumuni will play as the attacking pair today and will be looked upon to provide the goals for the Black Stars B team made up of players plying their trade on the local scene.
